Not a bad case for the money. Would be nice if there was a couple of pockets, but for the price you pay I think what you get is fair.
With scope attached, it's a little tight fit, but you can still zip it with no problem. The cushion is alot thicker than I expected it to be. I use this case to transport when I don't feel like using my hard shell case.
So far so good, kind tight the initial closing. Zips and closes good. Fits like a glove.
When I got this I ordered two more for my other rifles. What more can I say. The fit was great. The foam was excellent quality and supported my rifle and 410 shotgun. The outer material is durable and classy looking. It may be too short for larger shotguns but I love them. Cases of this quality cost 3 to 4 times more elsewhere. The zipper is also of superior quality. If you measure carefully, you will not be disappointed.
And the headline says it all! I've bought five of these so far, and they are quite simply the best soft case, at any price. And for the price I paid for them, they are just one heck of a bargain! Great case has nice thick padding so it takes the bumps and bangs with out heavily hurting your Rifle. Price is great deal shipping was fast and quick to the door. Would recommend this for the hunter that wants to go the extra to protect there gun in the field. Nothing ruins a hunt more when your gun is banged around and nocks the sighting of the scope out .
I ordered the 40in. (sm) GunMate Deluxe Rifle case for a Ruger 10/22 carbine.
It was a PERFECT fit for the 10/22 with a 3-9X40 scope. My scope is mounted with UTG medium height quick disconnect rings.
When I say perfect fit I mean that if my scope rings were higher or a had a hi rise picatinny rail it would have not fit.
Yes it is a "lockable" case keeping in mind that it is vinyl and rather easily opened with a razor blade.
Zipper appears adequate and strong enough along with plenty of padding without being bulky.
Does what I need it to do. I have just a simple Mossberg Plinkster .22, and it fits perfectly in this case. I have a scope mounted on top, and there's no issue with it not fitting. The case is nothing fancy, but neither is my rifle.
It looks good and is perfect for my little .22 cal rifle. I was embarrassed about having to take the rifle to the range in the old box it came in. Now, I was proud to take it in my nice looking gun bag.
Overall not a bad soft shell case. Pretty durable and good material. Can lock if needed with a combo or padlock. Zipper slides/zips easily and doesn’t hang up and the case is pretty slim and low profile.
